Title: 67 Coupe Hood

Hello Members
I recently purchased a 1967 Coupe Hood. It arrived well packaged but when opened at the panel shop the painter said it needed a lot of work to be ready for paint. He said it would be cheaper to buy a good one. On the box it said it was a product of Taiwan.

Have any other Members found poor quality with Hoods made in Taiwan or was I just unlucky with this one ?

Is it meant to be a standard one or the metal frame fiberglass one with the scoops?  I have the latter and it did take the panelbeater a bit of work to fit it.
