Hi, is heat required when bending the wiper arms for right hand drive conversion, does anyone have pictures??
Cheers.... Ray

Early Valiant Wiper arms are a great alternative.

Hey Nick, havn't heard that before. Do you have any suggestions where I would get them from, year model etc. Do you have a car with them on? do you have pictures??
Cheers

I bent my ones around warming them up with a heating torch.
Helps to stop the metal from fracturing.
Let them slow cool too, don't quench in water.

Hi Ray. Can't upload a photo as having hassles with the computer after an update. The wipers I have are off a VC Valiant and made by Trico. Not sure what is on the car as they were on it when I bought it 20 years ago. They look the same.

Just make a template of the bend angle and clamp in a vise, not too much heat and bend slowly.
