Title: Oil filter replacement - 2017 Mustang
Post by: Brian on September 22, 2021, 07:02:51 pm
As my Mustang is now out of warranty, I decided to do an oil change myself. How hard can it be? Quite hard, I discovered. Could not for the life of me remove the oil filter. Any suggestions? Do I need a special tool?

Quite hard to do but not impossible  :grin . Take the left hand wheel off ,take the removable panel off and then you can get to the oil filter . When taking off put the filter into a plastic bag then undo it by hand once you have loosened it with a oil filter tool . Supercheap auto , tool pro pliers , oil filter tool I found the best for this job ,around $15
