Title: Hassle Free Front Disk Brake Conversion Kit - 66 Mustang
Post by: umangu on April 30, 2021, 02:48:36 pm
Hi All,

I have see loads of Hassle Free Front Disk Brake Conversion Kits available in USA for my 66 Mustang, currently with 4 power assisted drums.

I want to know what is an equivalent and well priced Aussie version, you know something which comes with:

1. All parts including proportioning valve, distribution block, pre-bent lines
2. Good instructions, maybe even a YouTube installation video.

There are amzing kits in the USA for under AUD $900 and I'm wondering if I should bother looking around locally.

Thanks!

Umanng.

Which state are you in?

In SA, if you go for a non Kelsey Hayes type (ie factory style) you need an engineering report with brade fade testing etc.

Hoppers wont sell you the sort of no hassle kit your looking for.
Why dont you check one of the australian based mustang parts places.   Custom Mustangs for instance in Melb,  has the same kits as the USA that have all the lines , proportioning valves, calipers etc .
