Title: Identifying brake caliper
Post by: coops on April 05, 2021, 01:58:24 pm
I am trying to identify this brake caliper on the front of my 69 Mustang. I need a set of pads so if anyone knows what it's off can you let me know. Cheers Coops

The pads in my front brakes are worn and need to be replaced on my 69 Mustang and I need to identify them as they will need to be ordered from interstate so I really need to get it right the first time. From what I can work out they are PBR calliper and look to be XA, XB or XC Falcon, the disc is vented and has the large centre. If any one can verify this or prove me wrong that would be great. I have attached a few pics of the pads hoping some one knows what I have. Cheers Coops

All sorted. Rang our local Repco and they had a set of pads to suit in stock. Went and checked they were the same and they are. All good.

Hi all,
As a matter of interest I went on Ebay and couldn't believe the difference in price of DB1045, depending on the grade of shoe?
Cheers Phil.

These were Bendix for $79.00 at Repco. I didn't look on eBay. I wanted to compare them and make sure I had the right one and this way no postal charges. Happy with the price and I bought local.
