Title: Brake Lights / Turn Signal Cam
Post by: Azz67 on July 04, 2019, 09:49:02 am
I'm having some brake light issues in that both will not consistently come on, drivers side being the main culprit.
It appears my turn signal cam, while not visibly damaged can wiggle around a bit, probably because of the weight of the signal stork and most likely throwing the contacts out. If i wiggle it around a bit the contacts will align and I get working lights, but as I said its not consistent.
I will take it apart and try and manipulate the prongs on the back, (assuming I can do this.?)
Would also applying some conductive grease in this area help with more consistent contact? assuming its safe to put some in this area ?

Thanks,
