Hello folks
Im looking to having my 69 fastback rewired and not keen to attempt a "Painless kit " install myself.
Im nearing the end of a 25++ year resto and its looking great but having various wiring/electrical issues so looking to get it all sorted once and for all !
Also looking for a really tidy finish.
Any recommendations or thoughts on the matter ?
Thank you in advance. John

I have an American Autowire classic upgrade kit to go in my 66. Advice I have received from experts in the know, is these kits fit really nice and are much easier to install than a Painless kit.

Hey thanks for the "heads up" on the wiring kit, Ill be sure to look into it

Although not "new" harnesses there is a fellow who refurbishes these. I did some business with him and all went well. Midlifeharness.com
Nice guy, factory harnesses just another option.

You probably need to find an auto electrician that you're happy with first. They'll have a preference and let you know the best way forward.
I also have an American Autowire classic upgrade kit to go in my car, primarily because my project will have fuel injection, digital dash, electric windows, heated seats, dual thermo fans etc etc.

Stock type wiring as was suggested unless you need a lot of additional wires for whatever reason, or a custom look etc.
