Title: Mustang Suspension '101'

I hadn't seen this before and found the article interesting. Thought I would post it as there always seems to be questions regarding wheel alignment, steering, suspension and handling upgrades etc...might be of some use.  :smile01:

Related to this subject, can anyone tell me if they have any feedback on RRS suspension and brakes?

The coil over shocks appear to do away with the upper control arm, working more like a strut.

I think the general consensus is good suspension, but you lose turning circle and their customer service is absolutely atrocious.

Agree with Dwayne,
on my 68 I have the RRS- struts with their phase 3 brakes (13 inch with 2 piston calipers)
Plus the RRS rack and Pinion.
The suspension is good.
Brakes where better when I swapped pads to a good set of Bendix Pads
Turning circle with the rack and pinion is slightly worse but nothing to worry about. Benefits of directness and no slop is far worth it, but if its perceived as an issue you can run the standard drag link , tie rod ends up to the RRS strut suspension.
