Title: Painless wiring
Post by: HEVEN67 on September 03, 2007, 03:55:10 pm
Hi Folks
Well I had a drama when I smoked the wiring on fathers day, well to cut a short story long, I will do a patch up and today I ordered a Painless wiring 20121 for my 67.
Has anyone got any input to the installation woes! good or bad

Yer,
the guys building cobra's hate em.
Good to install but a pita later when you have a problem.  Not enough colours.

They adapt in E-series falcon looms...have everything you could ever need, and a wiring diagram that makes sense.

Oh;x
I dont need him to have problems, I went to my mates house this arvo to get a sqizz at his XB gt and When I left I give a it a squirt and it spat another belt, I think the alternator pulley is too small and the drive surface area isnt enough, see I can make my own dramas!
But yes Edd I did sence that he has a pyro streak!
Other than that its flying.
Also I mounted the thermo fan on an aluminium spacer so as it gets a more even flow of hot air from the radiator and it seems to be working a treat.

heven if u remember i also had dramas with that ebay alternator mine fell apart internally though the auto elect changed my small pulley to a larger one says that the smaller one may have contributed to the problem

F M D! Thats exactly been the drama, the noise suppressor fell out and caused a dead short which caused the toast to burn, and now the fan belt! F.M.D! Goes to show they sell some sh! t!
