Title: Mustang workshop books
Post by: David71 on August 13, 2012, 03:42:52 pm
Hi

We have become proud owners of our first mustang. A 1966 coupe very happy with our purchase.

I'm not the best mechanic but know my way around tools. Need to find out the best place to purchase workshop manuals on this type of mustang , we live in Queensland .

Hi to the Queensland mustang club we will be popping in to say hello when we get the car registered

Welcome and congratulations on your first Mustang, I know how excited you must be. I bought a set for the '69 from Capital Classics (02) 6161 7669 for $142 delivered to Melbourne.
Feel free to post some photos of your coupe in Members Cars.

I've also got that original Ford manual Hertz is offering. It's great to use. This afternoon I finished rebuilding my top loader by using it.

Also be sure to also ask forum members, I've learnt so much from reading others posts and usually find tips and 'trade secrets' you won't find in manuals.

If anyone wants to keep it permanently, they should download it rather than open each chapter.
The access is open to do that and you never know long these thing last on free sites.
Right Click on the chapter, select "Save link as" and Roberts your Mothers Brother!

Great links thanks for that - the work printer has just gone through a  hell of a lot of paper......

Does anyone have the Wiring Manual in a PDF to print?    or know where I can buy one?

I am having trouble finding one that isnt just on the Computer.  I downloaded the Workshop Manual but it is protected so you cannot print it.

Old School I spose but I like to see paperwork and books - plus its just easier when you are out in shed rather than trying to scroll on a laptop.

cheers

The wiring schematics are in section 22 - schematics.
Try printing you manual to a pdf file ( like Cute PDF). then open the new PDF and print from it.
That usually works for protected files
