Red fastback driving down Church St Parramatta on Saturday night.

Didn't get the best look, it drove by a bit too quickly, would've been 65-67 and a definite head turner.

11pm Thursday, Victoria Avenue, Castle Hill (outside the tavern) unmarked police pulled over the red 97 convertible ... "just doing a random breathaliser sir".

They had followed me from the new Thai restaurant at Kellyville (2k's) and also allowed a Falcon ute to scream past us both without question.

"Thank you sir, you were just under the limit" :rol:  That was with three light beers over three hours.    Sure  :sarcasm:, thanks guys, have a good night.

They were just doing their job I guess but I see a lot of others they could pull over.  Not sure I agree with covert operations doing this sort of stuff ... there must be better uses surely.  :soap:

I did not recognise the driver and the vehicle is not listed in the NSW membership but he was driving it hard up the hill and had a smile from ear to ear.

A fire engine red coupe driving through Summer Hill around noon.

I don't feel right about revealing the full no. plate but I'd say it's a '66 since it ended in 66.

Also, one of my earliest memories of a Mustang was a dark red 60's coupe that I could see from the left side of the train when travelling from Bankstown to Lidcombe. It was parked in a garage or carport.

Sunday 28th August

At the BP on Old Windsor Road at the Norwest shopping precinct (Parramatta side of the Woolies servo on opposite side)

1968 red convertible, with top down.  MUS68? (I think S)

I was in the corvette with roof up (silly me, the weather was pretty good).  Our eyes met, but no wave, smile nor kisses.  We both knew you admire but never acknowledge how lucky we are!

I dont think he is a member (never seen the car) but it could be a recent import and new to the club.

grand pde Sandringham

I've lived in Sydney my whole life, have driven around most of it and I don't recall hearing much of Sandringham.

Looking it up:

Sandringham was originally known as Strippers Point in the 1830s, from the local occupation of tree-felling and bark-stripping.

LOL

Travelling down the Pacific Highway at about 5:45 on Sunday afternoon, just before Royal North Shore Hospital at St Leonards.

I've not seen this one before (is that a surprise? lol) but it did look fairly fresh and was from about 1966/67,

The day had been good for cruising in the morning but when spotted, light showers were starting up and the breeze had cooled things off some.  I just got back from a cruise myself ... on the harbour with the Chev Club (am I allowed to use that word here?).

Sunday 26th August at about 1:30pm

I was in the back yard (we back onto Windsor Road) and I heard the deep baurble of a V8 - not one of those Subaru sounds.  I managed to look up, through the trees and just in time to spot a Shelby Fastback in white with blue centre stripe just cruising, minding his own business.

It was just a fleeting glance but my guess is a '65 and it could have been a clone but does it matter?  It looked good, sounded good and, the driver was being good!

That is one Mustang that has not been seen for a while due to family circumstances.  It was on it's way to the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek on Sunday ... terrific to see it out and about and equally as good to see the owner ... a MOCA member and good supporter for 20 years plus.

Spotted at the Haunted Hills (Yallourn, Vic) hillclimb today 2 Mustangs .
One was a nice Fox bodied Pony with 302 under the bonnet and run quite swiftly by MOCA member DN and the 2nd was a 66 Coupe with 302 fed by quad dual throat webers with over 400 neddies at the treads. Sounded full on, under hard acceleration too.
Good day with plenty of nice cars all watching this round of the Vic Hillclimb Championship.  :thumb:

Coming out of a side street at Northmead turning right onto Windsor Road heading towards Baulkham Hills on Friday 1 February.  Late model convertible driven hard by a woman.  She was not topless

And blow me down, if I don't bump into the same car a couple of days later at the Baulkham Hills Shops ... parked in front of me.  She is still not topless!

Red 1965 fastback (could have been a GT500) heading North on the Monaro Hwy and turning onto Lanyon Drive around 10:00. Didn't get a chance to take a pic because I had to pull over to let a Fire Truck get through. The bloke in the Hilux ute though must have been on another planet . . . 1 kilometre with a bloody great truck up his clacker with lights burning and turning in the RH lane sitting on the speed limit and not pulling over. D***head.

7:00pm in the car park at Harris Farm Market, Manly, a really nice looking '68 GT Fastback in a colour I haven't seen before, but according to the colour charts I think Gulfstream Aqua Metallic, black 'C' stripe and parchment interior with bench seat. Very appealing car. Was going to try and catch the owner but it was gone when I came out of the market.

10 minutes later on the way home on Oliver St, Freshwater a very nice looking '67 red convertible, top down and kids in the back.  :thumb:

And you didn't stop to say hello.

I thought it was yours but not sure, I waved to the passenger and he gave me a quizzical look.  After I passed I then realised it could've been LHD and I wasn't waving to the driver - d'Oh!  lol.

I was in the Torana and on the way to visit mum in Wollongong hospital, couldn't really stop and chat, it was looking grave for a while there but she's recovering.

I dropped in to my sisters and swapped cars so now have the fastback, will have to go to a few cruises.

Saturday ~ 5.30pm in Earlwood, possibly a lime gold 70’s/Mach 1 Mustang, only saw it from the rear, the number plate indicates it’s an R Code.

Summer Hill @ 1pm today

Silver, early 70’s/Mach 1 Mustang with black side stripe.

The number plate suggests it’s an R Code, not sure if it's the same car quoted above and a different colour now.

Pic was taken where I'm now working, delivering props, the guys at work go to that coffee shop.

The car broke down after he slammed on the brakes when the work truck was backing in. Pretty sure it was flooded, I told him to put his foot to the floor and try starting it but no go.  I heard it was there for hours.

I was once in my Torana waiting on a friend and a guy pulls up near a clothing bin, takes his TV out of the back seat and hits it into my front fender. He just gave me a sheepish smile, shrugged his shoulders and mouthed, 'sorry'. Thankfully it caused no damage but I wonder how much less care he would've taken had he known I wasn't in the car.
