Title: ACCIDENT
Post by: derwin66 on April 06, 2010, 08:28:39 pm
Members of QLD MOCA and many other car enthusiasts may know John Binge, a founding member of the club.  Unfortunately he has had a bad fall at home resulting in a broken back.  He is at home according to family and recuperating with the help of pain medication.  The QLD executive have been in contact and wish him the best and I am sure all people on this board wish him a speedy recovery.

We wish John a speedy recovery. Have not seen you since Charlotte 1994 at the Mustang's 30th birthday bash.

A top guy & I am proud to say that we bought the first Mustang he sold back in Jan 1989. That is Carol's 69 Mach 1 that we then restored & took with us to the USA.

Plan is to have it at the Nationals next year in Qld, restored again after 70K miles of driving duties in the USA. John you can revisit it there.

Yes John, you are part of our life changing experience that now has us flying constantly over the Pacific because we now live in both countries.

Get well buddy.... :(

Update on John's condition after speaking with his wife Pauline tonight, is that he is actually still in hospital with what is described as a C12 wedge fracture along with a broken left wrist.
He is now waiting on a back brace to be fabricated to support and immobilise the area and he can go home after medical staff are convinced the brace is doing it's job.
John is not big on computer technology but I asked Pauline to pass on the good wishes.
