Post by: woz66 on June 10, 2011, 09:01:22 pm: I viewed a 66 mustang convertible here in Brisbane, it had moist tar over the vin/chassis number and when I took it off it was different to the rego papers and the door tag.

Someone had cut the d/s inner fender off and welded one off another mustang.

Is anyone missing a 66 convert from a few years ago I suspect????

It's currently on ebay with a starting price now of $25000 The photo of the Mustang is old. The car no longer looks like that, it now has a rollbar and damage to the bonnet.

False advertising on ebay too, Lol!

It's a tall call I know, but I am sure something will show up eventually.

This Ebay car was registered till next month but he was selling it unregistered with no roadworthy.

He had cut off the structural strengthening support on the D/S shock tower to fit a brake booster too.
