Hi all what's the best hi stall (3500 to 4000) converter for a fmx

Sorry mate iPad died just got it back on the central coast I'm having a  427 stroke built and want something to handle the power what brand do you think

It depends what state your in .QLD  the converter shop . Dominator converters . See what sms777 thinks .

Does the shop really know what they are doing or do you want some suggestions?

Seeing that the camshaft will usually dictate the recommended converter size, i think that this would be something that your engine builder will be telling you.  After all, your obviously trusting him with the building of the engine for your pride and joy, so why not ask him the specs required.

As for brand, either TCI or Dominator. They are both located in Victoria

I have been using The Converter Shop in Brisbane for the last 15 years with not one comeback. Download the questionaire from ther website and give them all the details they require, you may need your engine builder to help you fill in the fine details.
The other two in Vic also good but the Brisbane one is cheaper.
