Might need my 65 finished
« on: March 20, 2020, 10:47:04 am »
Can anyone suggest a good quality shop in Perth besides Frank's Garage (will go see him) that could possibly paint and assemble my 65 coupe. I have all the rust done, panels are pretty well aligned, car is pretty much mocked up with new suspension, brake lines, motors in, radiator fitted etc. There are some small bits and pieces that need doing still first before paint but not major items in grand scheme of things.

I really don't want to go down this path as have done most of it myself so far, but am just very time poor, it's been 4 years in pieces so just weighing up my options. I understand it is definitely not going to be a cheap exercise but yeh as said just weighing up my options on what to do.

Thanks in advance

Depends where you are, but Pat at Autocraft in Myaree is good - he has a few classics himself (including his group N mustang) and does resto work (high end though)

https://www.autocraftwa.com.au/  - oops, just re-read your post, not sure Pat would do a full assembly (specialise in Paint/Panel)

You already mentioned Frank, good choice as well for the whole job

cheers
