Track day 1966 mustang and others
« on: November 26, 2018, 01:30:13 pm »
Hi All, this is a little video of a track day i went to this weekend, i certainly found the limit of my mustang, a touch early going back to second gear caused lock up and a bit of a spin, but i recommend a track day for anyone wanting to find the limits of their car.

Thanks Pete Its great fun.
Evo its the original 289 bored 40 thou,10:1 compression, original heads ported and polished
Hipo style cam with roller rockers, early Shelby inlet manifold, JBS headers, 600 holley carb
Supposedly around 310-330Hp not sure, was only what i was told, but it certainly seems to pull well.
It was getting close to the lap times on the 996 and gt40 only a 2-3 seconds in it by the end of the day.
I will need a new set of tyres fairly soon though. :burnout:
