I ticked it off my bucket list a few years ago and it is really something to see. The cars on display are valued in the stratosphere as it's where the ultra wealthy bring out the best of their collections. Each year features a different marque and this year it's Ford. They have a side event named "The Quail" where the attending squillionaires take their toys for a cruise through the hills surrounding Carmel culminating in a garden party in the grounds of the Quail Peninsular Golf Club http://signatureevents.peninsula.com/index.html. Attendance tickets are $600 and it's sold out years in a advance. Needless to say I didn't make that party.  :thud:
