After five tours of Tasmania with six to 24 Mustangs from The Sydney chapter, I can assure you the Tasmanians will make you very welcome. Met quite a few on one trip, spent the day being shown around. Some nice cars over there also.  :thumb:

Well we made it back.   What a great trip the Victorians had checking out the sites and some great car collections.

Thanks to the boys down South for their hospitality and thorough planning to make our trip very memorable.    :event:

When my wife, friends and I were visiting Launceston for a 3 day weekend from Sydney, when we were visiting a Maritime Museum just out of Launceston when I heard a burble V8 sound coming from behind us. I turned, looked and was delighted to see a new burnt orange coloured Mustang GT coming down the road. I quickly took photos of her. I jumped at the opportunity to have a closer look. The male owner driver even let me sit in the drivers seat. "Very nice indeed" I said.
He informed me he had the first registered new Mustang in Tasmania. I told him to join MOCA which he said he had.
So here are some pics of the first Mustang in Tassie (Minus the scars) :)

PS: No he does not work for the KGB !!
