That docs says the paint on the 69 is 'low gloss black' - that would be satin - not matt, right ?

So, is the paint on the 69 Boss different to the Mach 1 ?
I thought they would be the same .

Cheers,
Frank.

The doc is wrong, 69 Boss & Mach are flat black no texture. According to MCA data & low mileage original cars we have seen.  Not the first time printed info has been misleading.

Well, I can't see anything on this pic that says the '69 Mach and '69 Boss 302 hood blackouts are different to each other, or that the '69 paint is textured (I know that I said I thought they were textured in another post, but it turns out that only '70 hood blackout's were).

The pic says that the blackout instructions pictured are for the 1969 Boss 302 and Mach1 - that implies to me that the two were the same.

1970 cars are different - ram air and non-ram air cars were different to each other (and different to 1969) AND were available in either black or white stripes.

Can you point out where the doc is wrong, I just don't get it...
Jeff

Yes you are correct, Boss 302 & Mach1 in 69 are the same.

When I said the doc is wrong, I was only talking about the "low gloss". Their meaning may have been "no gloss" as in "low, meaning none"

Sorry for the confusion.
