Title: electric power steering in a RH drive 69 Mach 1 with a 351 Cleveland
Post by: thunderjet on January 25, 2019, 07:43:55 am
Hello I am in the final stages of a 25++ year resto on a 69 Fastback, basically it has no power steer and recently got new wheel & tyres (235/50/17 on front) and really not enjoying it - way too heavy so considering electric steering. My car has custom extractors on a 351 Cleveland which just fit real neat although with minimal clearances. I'm a 3 or 4 times a year driver but looking for something as trouble free as possible (and practical)
Also I'm considering a rewire on the car - any recommendations on someone who's capable of doing a really tidy job ?
Thanks and I look forward to any thoughts and recommendations.
