What problem are you having? Why do you need to resize them?  When i use my iphone to take the pics i photo stream them to the ipad then  download them to photobucket using the app on the ipad...Never had an issue...
Ultimately the best way is to use a digital camera so you can resize them small enough to load faster on the web which also uses less storage on photobucket...

If nothing else works.... Email them to yourself... Before you send, it asks you what size you want them to be.

RayAzza is on the money. Free app called simple resize works well.  Quick and easy.

Thankyou everyone I have done it successfully using the simple resize, where I was having trouble was what size to use 0000x0000 that's where I came unstuck
But all good now. THANKYOU

Good to see you were able to get it done Chris.

If you want to resize a whole batch of photos with a couple of clicks you can do it in Windows Live Photo Gallery. Just select all the pics you want to resize and click on the resize button and select the size you want and it is done.
