:smile01: Since my son lives in QUEENSLAND, I thought I would check out the Mustang clubs and ran across yours. I am from Black Mountain, North Carolina USA. I own a 68 Shelby GT350 Conv. I've owned it since 1972. It used to be my brothers car. He was killed in 1972, his wife had the Shelby but it was hard for her to drive cause it was a 4-speed, I had my first car which was a 65 2+2 fastback 289 automatic, my brother's wife asked me if I would trade it for the Shelby. I said of course and I've had it ever since. You'll find my story on thecoralsnake.com website titled The History of Lost #301. Come to find out my car was the 1st 68 Shelby Gt350 Conv. made and it was sent to Hertz for there use to see if the wanted to rent convertibles. Anyway I'll post up some pictures and If I ever get to visit my son someday maybe I can check out your club cars.. Thanks

Welcome Randy. I have very fond memories of touring through North Carolina in the early 1990s (the Smoky Mountains are amazing).
Great looking Shelby vert!
My 65 GT fastback spent most of its life in NC before being shipped to Oz.

Welcome Randy,
Very nice looking 68 Shelby, my car also spent most of its life in North Carolina before the relocation to Australia in February.
