Title: Heater Motor
Post by: Pete-W on November 02, 2012, 02:03:31 pm
Hi Everyone,
Need a bit of advice regarding the heater blower motor on my '65 coupe. I need to replace the motor and fan setup and can't seem to source what I need. I have a 2 speed 3 wire motor and a badly rusted fan (cage).

The only ones I can find are complete motor /cage units but are 2 wire and are for the 65-68 models. The motor I have is coded 18527-A and a date of 15 Oct 1964. Can I install a 2 wire type or must I stick to the 3 wire setup?
My 65 does not have A/C or a resistor on the heater box.

Suggestions please

Pete
