Title: NEW PRODUCT! Backlit Horse & Coral Kits! $80
Post by: BLKPNY on December 08, 2010, 02:55:07 am
This is the latest thing! A replica of a very rare accessory.
We will place the order later this month, and it will take aprox 8 weeks. Will be taking order to get an idea of how many to order in.

From the site:
Add some flair to the front of your Mustang with a Grille Corral that lights up. Our kits work with your existing 1964-67 Corral and Running Horse emblem. Kits include back reflector panel, waterproof LED modules, and electrical connectors. Simple installation with flexible wiring options. Grille Corral and Horse available separately.

So to clarify, there are 3 different kits, 64-65, 66 and 67
The kit doesn't include the Horse & Corral, but we can supply these to you.

If I have got this right it is the light panel that fits behind the existing horse emblem. Do these generally work off a separate switch?

Thats right, it goes behind your existing Horse & Corral, unless you decide to buy a new one.

Regarding the switching, there are many options, you could run it off your parker circuit, or a seperate switch. The same idea as our LED Angel Eye (Halo) lights for these cars, either use the Halo as the parker, or run a seperate switch to turn it on/off at will.

Placing an order now, let me know if you want one, so I can put it aside for you.

I havn't quite convinced myself that I need one of these. Might wait until I see one fitted to see what they look like up close.
