From The Gerald Wingrove Collection
Building a collection of models that represent over 400 years of wheeled transport history
Gerald Wingrove devoted seventeen years of his life to the business of light engineering as a center (centre) lathe turner. Seeing no future in this, he decided to turn his hobby as a model engineer into a full-time job.
1931 4.5 litre Supercharged Bentley:
The current project is to build three 4.5 litre Blower Bentleys fully detailed chassis in 1/15th scale and a complete one with a body by Gurney Nutting of London, as originally built for Woolf Barnato in 1931
