Title: specs for a 66
Post by: rick ross the boss on March 06, 2009, 11:22:08 am
in the interest of carport construction iv just found the info that a 66 is:

1.73228 meters wide
1.2954 meters tall
4.61264 meters in length

does that sound about right?

cheers

Length and width are spot on, the height can vary from car to car.

Don't think that I would worry too much about the .028 in the width nor the .064 length in planning the overall size of the carport.:+:+:+:2hic

You would if you built it to size, and rounded down......:_

But what if you rounded up and incurred the associated extra expense:f:+

Yeah, and I'd be a bit inclined to construct the roof of the carport a bit higher than 1.2954 metres.

Otherwise you'll trash your radio aerial, and won't be able to fit ski racks come winter. :(

Not to mention the occasional bruised scone.  ::
