Hypothetically, if I purchased that car on the basis of it being offered as having a link to Steve McQueen's Bullitt, then I'd feel a bit stupid with myself for not doing the homework.

It's a nice green '68 289 fastback auto with mags. Certainly very desirable, but NOT an S code, NOT a 390, NOT a GT and NOT a manual. (The Bullitt back-up car wasn't a GT though)

Compare it to the near correct Bullitt clone put together by 66 Shelby owner Phil Walker for February's Unique Cars.
