Title: Opinions wanted - disc brake conversion
Post by: Garagemahal on July 21, 2022, 12:28:04 pm
Gday
Wondering if anyone has used the Front disc brake conversion kit that Sydney Mustang Parts sells. (Part no DBCA120-PR)

Keen to know if much/any modification was needed, quality of  components etc.
Also keen to get a view on any alternative kits.
Many thanks in advance.
Matt

G'day,
on my car the previous owner installed a very similar kit, I cannot tell if it is exactly the same Sydney Mustang Parts is selling; I might still have details somewhere, and I remember that the kit was from the US.
I believe the front disc brake conversion is something that needs to be done, considering today's traffic conditions.

There are few kits on the market, you need to consider rim size and if car is auto or manual. Some modifications are needed but nothing major I think. People here can give you more details on that.
