To suit what model?

They are from the 70’s as they are a larger capacity, 22 gallons I think but this one was in a 68. Anywhere from a 67 to the early 70’s. It is an aftermarket one not original.
Edit 10/10/20: this is a 20Gallon Tank not 22Gallon. Thanks

Hi Cage, will this fit a 66? Where are you based? Ed

The later 22 gallon tanks fit well in our early cars. Just need a different shaped filler tube and fuel level sensor to match the tank. You lose most of the dip in your trunk floor though, it's pretty much a flat floor with the bigger tank in there.
Just need to check it's definitely 22gallons, as conversion filler tube won't fit a 20 gallon tanks from 67-68's.

The 70 mustangs came with a 20 and 22 gallon tank . CA built cars were different .

Hi Edz, I am based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney.
I didn’t know there was a 20Gallon tank so learnt something. So this is a 20Gallon tank. It has F28D sticker on it which from everything I can find is a 20gallon. I will change the original post to reflect this.
See below link as an example of a F28D tank. The one I have says Made in Canada.

Thanks Cage, but I think I'd just rather fill up more often. Looks like I'd lose a lot of boot space for interstate trips. Cheers Ed
