Title: 1968 GT 390 Fan Clutch
Post by: Tiny on September 05, 2023, 07:32:10 am
Hi all, can you please assist re selecting the correct Fan Clutch for my 67 GT 390 Mustang.  It will have fitted the 3 Core original Radiator, Fan Shroud and the 7 Blade Fan but without A/C.  In order to get the maximum amount of cooling and get the fan as close to the radiator as possible, which Fan clutch do I select?  The choices it seems are, C8OE-A, C8OE-B, C8OE-C, C8OE-D

thanks

The C8OE-A&B clutches have a short shaft and the fan will be further away from the radiator than a C&D.

I have a C8OE-C clutch but it needs a rebuild. The Hayden clutch is probably a better bet for a ‘67 car.
