Nice.  Liking the line connections at the front.  Really neat.

Well it's be quite a while, but I've finally got some new stuff to post.  The complete new exhaust system is now finished.  This includes custom 4 into 2 into 1 race style Headers leading into a 3" dual system with X-pipe, custom mufflers and finishing off with Vibrant Exhaust Tips.  All in Purge TIG welded 304 Stainless Steel.  First image shows the 1 7/8" Primary tubes, which step up to 2".

This is how that all looks installed in the Engine Bay.

Here's the Collectors tacked together.

This is a detail shot of the X-Pipe and front Exhaust Mount.

More shots of the complete system, finished.

Also had Stainless Steel hard lines made for the Dry-Sump.  Fabricated from 25mm diameter x 1.6mm wall, stainless steel tube with -16 AN bulkhead fittings into the Engine Bay and boot.  These will attach to braided lines to the Tank in the rear and the Pump at the front.

Very happy with this work, excellent attention to detail - now onwards and hopefully upwards...

So - I decided to drill and tap the brass fitting where the PCV is connected - I would have been happier if it had screwed in a little further but it's so frigging tight that I'm happy with where it is. The fitting is in a smidge under 4 threads/turns and is very tight, so I'm confident it doesn't leak, and the fitting points in the right direction for the brake booster...

Great news - paying an expert when you're scratching your head can be money well spent.

Excellent news...

Importing Cars & Parts - General Freight / Re: Transport Sydney to Canberra

This thread is very old but if anyone is still looking for an answer, I would recommend P&S Logistics, Prixcar Services, and CEVA. I deal in Cars in Melbourne and usually transport cars for my clients to Canberra using these companies.

P&S Logistics (https://pslogistics.com.au): Fast, Reliable, and Competitive Prices
PrixCar Services (https://www.prixcar.com.au): Safe and Enclosed Car Carriers
CEVA Car Carrying (https://cevacarcarrying.com.au): Reliable, Fast, and Enclosed Car Carriers

I hope this will help. But I would recommend you all to first explore yourself and get quotes from 2 to 3 companies to take a good decision.

Thanks everyone for the info. Second question does anyone know if kings coils KFFL 0 will fit in the front of a 1970 coupe?
Ring Suspension City and ask them - they specialise in King springs and advised me on my 65 exactly which ones were right.

Thanks Lisandrowaelchi, and everyone.

I ended up getting an MSD ready to run for a 302 with suitable steel gear. Lots of trouble initially getting the timing right and it ran terribly until I changed mechanics and a day later it was perfect. Runs like an absolute legend now.

After the new MSD went in and it was setup poorly, it was a combination of retarded timing, carby float incorrect, carb mix out and missing a choke that caused issues. Corrected these and added an auto / electric choke and its great.

It's not a 351w distributor—that's the wrong one. Although expensive, the MSD 302w ready-to-run distributor is the best option. Just make sure it has the correct bottom gear for the roller cam.
