Hi Guys,
Would anyone happen to have a space saver spare wheel? I think 1970 on had space savers.

I'm not an expert, but I believe those things are like gold. You'll be looking at about $2K or more.

... Eg. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1969-FORD-MUSTANG-BOSS-302-429-SHELBY-GT350-GT500-MACH-1-SPACE-SAVER-SPARE-TIRE-/362886072950 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1969-FORD-MUSTANG-BOSS-302-429-SHELBY-GT350-GT500-MACH-1-SPACE-SAVER-SPARE-TIRE-/362886072950)
You'd be looking at about $2.4K landed including GST.

It depends if you want just a spare wheel and tyre std size or an original 69 space saver wheel and tyre ? . Yes if original space saver rim and tyre you will pay plenty for the correct one . What do you really want ? I have seen them for $1,000 plus in the USA ,then all the costs to have it here . By the way 69 and 70 have different tyres . Ps I do have one for a 1970 I would sell .

Hi Glenn,
I had no idea that they were that expensive, so that being said you had better let me know what the damage would be for yours.
Cheers,
Greg

I would never use mine as a real spare on the road ,the tyre is 50 years old  . Near concourse condition and good for a concourse car . $$$ wise ??? It cost $900 usd plus getting it to aust .

Thanks Glenn,
Think I'll just fill the boot up with a standard wheel as I may need to use it as a spare at some stage.

Just go get a original mustang rim 14x5 inch and fit a narrow tall tyre like a 175/75 x14 if you can find one ,VW type tyre . Size might be different and that was just an example.
