No info yet (serial), think it is probably the one Sam Newman (footy show) sold a couple of years ago (at the F1 auction if I remember correctly)

Pretty sure Sams had a paxton supercharger on it

I was thinking likewise.

thinking you are right, maybe the one Duttons had?

The '66 Hertz Shelby at Shannons up for auction is not Sam Newman's vehicle as it was at Wollongong last weekend for the Mustang Nationals. Also, it's not the one that was sold about a year ago or so at Duttons as the owner still has it. Also, Sam's Hertz was sold at auction through Moss Green Auctions at the Australian Motoring Festival in Melbourne.

details up now on Shannons - documented in the Shelby American World Registry, SFM6S1497 is one of just 999 Hertz ‘Rent-A-Racers’ built in 1966, sporting the iconic black and gold paint scheme.
Nice looking, hopefully she gets a good price

Nice car, lots of bits on the engine bay aren't original. None of the hertz got a Paxton from factory, some had them added by early owners
