Just wanted to know if there is any external fuel pumps to suit EFI that are not noisy. Shaun071 put me on to efi hardware in Vic that sells a tank conversion kit from a BA Falcon, but before i go cutting my tank up does anyone use an external pump thats not noisy.
Cheers Mark.

Ive got an external efi pump in my stang, not sure of the brand though, I got it from efi hardware, just a generic one. I set it up with a swirl pot and filters under floor in front of tank. Its quiet.

One of the reasons they put then in the tank is to keep them quiet, the other is to keep them cool.
I personally run the fully monty with two external pumps (lift plus high pressure) with a swirl tank. Both pumps are not silent but I like to be able to hear that they are working.
Maybe get a louder exhaust system

Thanks for the reply's. Not that keen on a loud pump so looks like i will go with the internal pump . Id rather listen to the exhaust than a noisy pump.

I am running a (Nippon Denso) in tank pump.
Good for 450 HP
It is mounted in a Autometer Fuel sender carrier.
No swirl pot
I can run it down to empty without any surging or cornering problems.
Fitted in to the tank with "rivnuts" so they are captive.
No sound what so ever.

I am still at stripping my coupe for blasting stage but I bought a Tanks Inc drop in tank that has aeromotive efi pump and fuel sender already installed as my tank was cactus. In hind sight should have got the 67/68 for the larger fuel capacity had I known.

That's what I bought except with the walbro pump. I used the 70 tank also which is 22gallons. 69 is 20 gallons. 65-68 are all 16 gallons

Those are US gallons aren't they? A standard 64-66 tank is about 13.33 local gallons.
