The Patrol looks good in blue Brad :smile01:

A couple of Mustangs have been finished and returned to their owners. Ben and Biancas was first -

The 390 Mach1 has had the engine fully rebuilt, brakes done up and floor repainted. Jeremy took it through Regency for Registration early last week and on Thursday it was handed back to John the owner -

We have started a Restoration job on a 68 Camaro -

Blutey has fitted a new floor section to the right rear floor pan and is currently fitting up a new rear panel and both rear quarters. More photos tomorrow.

Jeremy is off to the USA on Tuesday for a couple of weeks and will spend some time with Matt and Sheri in Florida.

Well Rod its nice to see you back online, have missed your updates

Whats going on n the detailing world? Have washed our car a couple of times now with the citrus gloss and I think it comes up shinier each time we use it
Wish Jeremy the best for his trip, hope he remembers to take plenty of Panadol and Berocca with him
Cheers. Chris & Sally

That 69 390 looks brilliant. Love the colour and the finish.

Safe travels for Jeremy, hope the trip goes really well. He will be checking out my Boss and bringing it home.

Hi Chris/Sally, We were all feeling a bit flat after the Blue Mach1 left, then Brad spent a night in hospital after arriving back from NSW - Kidney Stones - Bugger! Doctor told him to grin and bare the pain. He has not passed the one that is in his tract yet so still in pain somewhat. Couple of good sessions with the amber fluid may help.
Other than that we have been down the south east doing some bathroom reno work so have not been in the car factory much.

Have not done any car polishing lately - too cold and just cannot get motivated. Heck - have not even washed the car since returning from Millicent.

So now you know why i like the Citrus Wash and Gloss. It is the best car wash shampoo i have ever used. :thumb:

I will speak with Jeremy about your trolley tomorrow because i think we could really use it if you still have it.

He had to delay the trip to the USA from a couple of weeks back because he did his back in. I think he will travel with painkillers just in case it recurs. Only takes a twist the wrong way to put it out again.

Hi Mark, Yes... the owner of the 390 is very happy with the car.
Interesting to note that Regency have changed the rules again. You now have to have the engine no. check the day before your main Roadworthy appointment. Then after it passes the Roadworthy it can be Registered straight away but cannot be driven until you receive the LHD Exemption in the post.

Jeremy is looking forward to seeing your Boss - as we all are - and will be helping Matt to button it up for the trip.

Rocket,

Marks car is practically finished now. Got it back from Sherm on Friday with alot of carby issues. Sheri spent all day giving it a detail on Saturday and is polishing it on Monday and all that left is the stripes, wipers and a few other d1cky things

Tell Jeremy to bring shorts and tank tops....its smack in the beginning of summer here. Bring bathers aswell....I will hit a few Islands on the boat while hes here.

On another note, I want to thank you guys for taking care of John's S code for me. Jeremy is going to fill me in when he gets here but I just wanted to say that we appreciate all the help you put into it

Monique...dont stress...fatkid and Inga will look after him

Hi Matt, What were you doing while Sheri did the detailing   :toetapping: :bolt:   What a woman! :thumb:

Are you able to sort out the carby issues before the car leaves?

Jeremy was really feeling the cold on Friday and said he can`t wait to get over there in the warmth. Might help his back too. He has had warm weather clothes and togs packed for a couple of weeks now. He is really looking forward to catching up with you both.

John`s car came up superb. Forgot to put up the engine bay picture. Here it is -

Monique knows you will look after him - no worries there.

Have fun.

Just received these photos from Jeremy -

He arrived only an hour or so ago. matt and Sheri dragged him off to the pub for a few small ones, but a storm set in and now they are stuck there.

As late as Monday night Jeremy had decided he was not going to the USA at all. His daughter Maddison was a passenger in a car that had a nasty crash about 12 midday on Monday. Maddison and her 2 friends were taken by ambulance to the hospital, but fortunately were not badly hurt. Jeremy stayed at the hospital with Maddison until they released her at 10.30pm.
She is ok, just battered and bruised.
Jeremy left home at 6.30 am the next morning to head for the airport.

Have fun guys.

Glad Maddie is going to be alright, such a shock for the whole family
Jeremy is looking better already, I am sure he will be able to relax and have a good time and come back with plenty of new parts and stories to tell

Nice line up. I hope you didn't do too many skids in that lovely blue Boss.... :burnout:

Is that the '69 Mach 1 with the 429 there? Tell Matt to ship it with the Boss for you, that red one must be getting lonely.

:burnout:   just had to make sure the tyres were good on mark's car

I can't count how many times I told matt I wanted that car the 429 sounds so sweet, and I know it would look fantastic next to the red one.

Jeremy/rocket

sorry its taken so long to upload these pics but Ive been snowed under

Here are all the pics in the order that I can "remember" how it all went down

Figured we have so many people from Oz staying with us, we might as well set up the spare room as the hotel room it is

We took J out to some of the Islands and showed him around all the water ways of where we live

This is on "DoggyStyle Island"

Then cruised for a few hours checking some of the scenery

Dolphins, beach bars, pirate ships, shark ships, out the front of Terry's House (Hulk Hogan)....this is more Jeremy to fill in the gaps

Took him out and introduced him to the locals and one night

Weekend at Jeremy’s

Sheri and friends

Took him out on a few inspections.
This bit he really loved
Both of came very close to pickin this ratrod as a weekend cruiser

Finished off a few projects that I had floating.
We decided to leave the stripes off the boss until it was in Adelaide

Took  J to the flea markets at the end of Tampa road and scored some really cool shi7 for his man cave. Just to hang on the walls etc. Most of those spanners and tools are all FORD tools dating 30’s up to 5-60’s and the oli can came from a Model T ford….really cool stuff

While we were there, I saw this really cool fridge. Before I even knew it…..Jeremy had bought it.
Im like…holy shi7…how am I gonna ship this to him. Then he turns around and says…nah…that’s for you for looking after me. Talk about blown away. 1st pic is at the shop, the 2nd is at ours

J was lovin Sheri’s Ferrari
He wanted to nail it out so we could go out cruising in it
We fired it up this day.
Running a 351W punched out to a 408, 5 speed tremec and a heidts independent rear running 4 wheel discs

A few days later (maybe) we had to take J’s Challenger back so we thought we’d clamp the rear lines and get a few pics

Even with Clamped hoses….Challenger is a FAIL

Challenge the Challenger

Stocked up on a bucket load of fireworks for July 4.
Between Jeremy and myself…talk about a pair of 5 year olds

Explosive Jeremy 1

Explosive Jeremy 2

On the last day, we took “J” to lunch at some bar, then headed off to the gun range

Explosive Explosive Jeremy

So
All in all, I reckon “J” had a good time and we tottaly enjoyed every minute he was here. You couldn’t ask for a better guest or a better person.

Look forward to having him and Monique next time

So much so, we have already organized another trip over for Biketoberfest up in Daytona, then Halloween in Oldsmar, off to terry & rhondas car party on the Sunday, then early Monday, off to SEMA

WE have even rented the holiday house next door (Known as the Ginger bread house…coz that’s what it is)

Were very much looking forward to it. Even offered him a key to my house. His whole family are welcome there. Ive met them all and all I can say is….what a great family of people

One last thing, that “J” took back with him is this. A saying he will always remember

Looks like you all had a ball. :thumb:

I hear that Mark`s Boss and the Eleanor are due to be transported any day now.

Meanwhile.... Work on the cars goes on... and on...and on

The Camaro is coming along nicely. Blutey has fitted all new rear panels including rear quarters and doors which all line up nicely now. Here are some photos -

Front has been completely removed -

Easy to clean it all up and repaint this way -

Undercarriage has been cleaned up ready for paint -

The new doors had to be massaged in a big way to get clean lines and a good fit -

The Camaro will be painted in the Bumble Bee colours - Yellow with blackouts.

Next post - tidy up of Lou`s 65 Coupe.

Rocket.
