John - The owner of the yellow Mach 1 called in to have a look at his cactus engine. Here he is with Jeremy -

Now if mwizz lived around the corner from me, I would have a photo just like this one

Him staring at the motor scratching his head, me staring at it saying "Oil....Nah.....No Oil here Chop"

Seems everyone is having engine dilemmas lately including myself

Good luck with it guys.

Matt

Hi Matt

Thanks for the comment, I realise a 08 GT is no big deal in the USA however in Sth Aus they are far and few! plus the Alloy colour is a killer,

Just sitting looking on the net at whats available for this model................... :smile01:

Remember the incident at the Perth Nationals when an allegedly drunk driver crashed into Ben and Biancas Coupe? -

The insurance company gave us the go ahead to repair the car, so repairs are underway -

Tail light panels was too far gone to repair so we are now waiting for a new one to arrive -

 :omg:

When I did the axle seals the oil from my diff was pretty bad too..
Nowhere near that bad, but it was still sludgy and full of silicone and god knows what else.
It wasn't even proper gasket silicone though! It was ordinary bathroom silicone! Not at all made for sealing diffs!
... Which would probably explain the little bit of oil dribbling out of the centre of the diff..

Re: Time for an update - Loading boss69hoggs Mach 1
« Reply #991 on: May 28, 2013, 08:32:03 pm »
By now the news is out that boss69hogg bought the Winter Blue Mach1 from Jeremy yesterday.

boss69hogg tried to hire a car trailer in NSW to come and collect the car, but could not find a car trailer that could legally carry the weight of the car. The other option was to have it transported over to NSW by a car carrying company. Neither boss69hogg or us were keen on that due to so many stories of damage to cars. We were able to assist.

Brad and Fiona have had tons of experience towing the car trailer interstate and are extremely careful with the car and trailer. Jeremy and boss69hogg struck up a deal for Brad and Fiona to deliver the car.

Here are some photos showing the car being loaded for delivery to the new owner -

Brad and Fiona are about halfway to their destination right now.

Goodbye BlueMach.

Well done guys. And Dave!  :thumb:

Just realised though, the last photo is not going to be appropriate in the future. Will the next car be Winter Blue also or will the Patrol be getting a change of colour?

How good are these blokes, even personally delivering the car? :thumb:

Car looks good behind the Patrol, it's such a shame you'll have to paint it red now.....

Hi Ash and MachAttack, We are happy to be able to deliver the Blue Mach1 to Dave. This way we can assure it will get to Dave tomorrow night in the same condition it left us.

We have discussed the colour of the Patrol. Jeremy wants to keep it Winter Blue as a sort of tribute to the Blue Mach1. It will be a nice contrast to the Red Mach1 it will tow in future.

Yes, it's good fun.. It's better when it all just works though..
If all goes to plan I should be able to get it there with time to spare, if not something somewhere has gone seriously wrong!  :event:

Geez,

Shame Boss69hogg didnt slip you some extra reddies and bought the whole combo, and driven it home himself  :pepper:, gee it looks good sitting behind the patrol.

Either way, congratulations Boss69hogg, looks like a stunning car, you must be very happy, cant wait to see it at a NSW event, maybe even bring it down to one of the coffee meets at Kellyville.

Cheers
Keith
