Hi Ash, Luke told me that he changes the filters after painting about 10 cars in there.

The car has just come out of the booth. We put it out in the sunlight and it looks shyte hot :thumb:

Luke is removing the masking tape. When he is finished i will take and post another couple of pics.

I finally managed to post on the 3rd attempt. Do not know whether it succeeded because i hit the preview button first - or because i wrote it very quickly.

I agree!! I much prefer the gloss over the matt for the blackout.

Thanks guys, We also prefer the gloss blackouts, but have decided to go with the matt blackouts on the bonnet and rear spoiler for the Perth Nationals.

We have 2 new bonnets and rear spoilers to be painted matt and then fitted to the machs so that we can keep the gloss ones on hand in case we ever decide to change the red and blue machs back to the gloss.

Red and Black cars are the best 2 colours to polish because the difference is staggering.

Hi Rod,

12 hours for you, 12days for me!!!!!!!!! If mine ends up half as good I will be very pleased.
I cant have it too shiny, I would have to look at my ugly mug in the reflection all the time.
Also could you please let us know the grading of the different coloured pads.

Cheers Vic.

Hi Vic, You will be surprised how easy it is with the ZFE Polisher.

Just do one or 2 panels each day and before you know it - the whole car will be gleaming.

What colour is your car?

Watch the Car Polishing Thread for a post about the Pads.

Hi streetrod, Yes... It is Protec Clear over Basecoat.

Thanks for your kind words. That is why we like our painter ( Luke ) so much. His paint jobs always come up looking excellent.

Hi Sally, Thanks.

You are very observant. I had not even noticed. Hmm..... Sure he said the cast needed to stay on for 6 weeks.? Maybe it annoyed him. The angle grinder would have made light work of removing it. :bolt:
