Run the flex in comparison with another machine today. Flex is lighter and altho having noticably more torque is a lot easier to handle. Which of course means it has less rotating mass. However it does not slow down with increasing load(more pressure) unlike the other unit and varying speed transition while using it is smooth. You may not like it like this. If you dont I will be happy to take it off your hands for the price of your new Chinese unit.
Ha Ha. Jack, you have just described very eloquently why the Flex is such a great Polishing machine!
What was the other machine you were using?
Part with the Flex! Me! No effing way!!!!!
It is easy to use, that is for sure. Have you ordered yours yet?
Cleaning Polishing Pads can cause marital problems. Does Briar ever let you near the washing machine? If not, fill the sink with warm water and some dishwashing liquid, put the Pad in there and let it soak for a couple of hours, then use a nail brush or similar to brush the polish/dirt off, then rinse and put it somewhere to dry.
My missus hated me doing it either of those 2 ways, so i have a special Pad cleaner called DP Pad Rejuvenator. Simply use the supplied measuring cup (small) to tip some in a bucket of water. Allow a cuple of hours soaking. Use the brush on top of the Pad, wring out, then blast it with the hose, wring it out again, then put it somewhere to dry. All done outside - saves arguments!!
Look forward to seeing you through the week. Think your car is being painted tomorrow - if Luke decides to show up.
Rocket.
