Just wanted to say thanks to everybody at the club meeting on wednesday night.
This was my first meet and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Special thanks to Charles for the drink and great to meet you, BLKPNY and Thirsty. See you all soon again.
Hey Thirsty, if you need a hand with the fuel gauge I can arrange a hoist to make things a little easier.
Cheers :
-
Same goes, great to meet you, and your car looks sweet!
You had Mustang people drooling all over it all night, and rightly so. Well done on your purchase.
-
Great to meet you as well,
Your GT convertable was one of the finext examples of a GT vert I have seen. Great buy.!!
I will take your offer up on the hoist soon.
I have had my hands tied up with the other car at the monute, but I will contact you soon to gran that sender off you so I can run sone tests.
Let us know if you are going to come along to any shows/meets and we sometimes organise to meet up along the way.
On Sunday there is the All American show at the Manhattan in Ringwood. I might be there. IGALOP shuld make an appearance as well as Mac1.
-
Thanks again boys.
Sounds good for sunday as long as the weather holds out.
I`m to used to driving the car with the roof closed.
Lets me know when and where and I`ll be there.
Cheers
-
From 8 am, Cnr Canterbury and Heatherdale Rds in Ringwood...........unless its pi55ing down!
-
A liitle ;1 shouldn't stop you Johnno.
Think I might join you guy's for that one as well.
Which one will Thirsty bring along???:+
-
Hi there
I have only just joined the club so haven't been to a meeting yet but did have plans to go Sunday subject to the weather. Will all of the Ponies be parked together even if we all get there at different times?
Let's hope the drought doesn't break this weekend!
-
Thirsty, I've found a Red 67 Convertible for you. In Moorabbin and I only want 20% from the seller. Let me know when you want to see it.
I can picture the full set of 67/8 Mustangs now, outside your place.:w:w:w:w:w:w
-
Not sure what i'll bring yet... but will be there
-
IGALOP, Just checked the GPS. I take it meet at the shell service station?
newtoponies Welcome. I am also new to this. I have seen somebody mention "If we leave together we arrive together so we park together."
I think its a little hard to reserve spots for people when you are not sure how many will turn up.
Cheers
-
I might come too...... in my Commodore:-:-
-
We usually manage to get most of our Ponies together at this one. Just drive in and say you are with our club and they will probably send you over to us. The Shell servo is right next door to the pub so we mostly drive in to the show off the Heatherdale rd entrance and look for each other. So long as you're not the very last car to turn up you'll be OK. I get there between 8 and 9 (weather dependent). Johnno.
-
I will check in tomorrow night to see what is happening given weather. If I don't bring the Pony, I may just come along to meet a few of you anyway.
-
;*;_:(
-
If the weather is bad will come in the EA. and say G`day
Do you think it will pass as a mustang :w
-
I'm going to Ballarat so I'll be taking my Scott Drake reproduction snow chains just in case.
-
Johnno
You should hear me comin' from about 2 suburbs away ... the FB is getting louder!!
Mac1 - About time the Vette comes out again .. at least it won't look out of place at the Manhattan
-
Is anyone still taking their pony today?;1
-
I would think that most people would. It's only a little rain.
-
Maybe I'm wrong, it just started pouring again...
-
I'll keep an eye on the weather and if it eases off early enough to get there by 9.30 I'll get it wet.
-
IGALOP is staying in the garage unless it clears away. Its pi55ing down here in Narre Warren and looks like it will stay that way.;]
-
we're going for a look - it's only water after all!
-
Still thinking about it.
Every time I get motivated it starts pissing down again

-
OK - Rain has stopped for a good half an hour.
Starting her up. should be there in 1 hour
-
Hey Thirsty still raining my side of town. A67PNY not going nowhere today.
As for the EA its just about washed away.
-
Fastback was greased & cleaned Saturday for the sunday cruise ... started p1ssing down last night & hasn't stopped since.
Heading out to the garage now to place her covers over until I return.
I crabbed this thought from the Canberra guy's .. maybe we should try & gather the ponies for a beer garden lunch before Xmas.
Not sure what is a good location but somewhere we can admire our ponies & have a good chat & spread some cheer.
Seems we have picked up a couple new ponies since the last club meeting at the steak house (Union).
I'm aware our club meeting is early in Dec. now so hopefully we can spring a Sat or Sun.
Any thoughts guy's
Cheers, Caretaker65 :2

...and a hell of a lot of it! The Manhattan has a nice car park, just no American Muscle Cars in it!
At least I know how she handles in the wet now - must do something about the demister!;x ;1
The guys there said it will be rescheduled to either next Sunday or later in December so watch their website
-
Thats funny you say that, I drove mine to the first Knox night, in the rain (418ci engine, 4300 convertor, Spool rear, 135 wide front runners) and it drove really well, but having no demister was really noticable!
-
Apparently the Muscle Car show will be on the 13th now...
Caretaker65, as one of the new guys I like the idea of a Xmas catch up as I am going to struggle to get to meetings to introduce myself, but the weekends are filling up fast. Will think about a nice pub where we will be able to sit around and stare at the cars.
Cheers, newtoponies
-
Newtoponies has all the right info-well done.
It looks like 13th Dec is the new date for this show.
All to be confirmed.
Details on "60samcc" website.
Hopefully we will all have dried out by then.:w
Still pouring in our area at nearly 1 pm.:_
-
Ah well boyz we better take the rain whilst we can because I fear Dec/Jan/Feb we ain't going to see much.
Great for cruisin, ordinary for the gardens.
-
Ash, I think you might be right about your longer term rain prediction. :(
Make hay while the sun aint shining!:+
-
hey Igalop take the hyundai to the muscle show next time that way rain or shine it wont matter:f
-
I started mine up ready to roll, and it then started pissing down again;]
Back to sleep, under covers
-
So you caused the fifth down pour today :+
-
7pm and rain has gone and sun is out
Go figure???
-
That's melbourne weather for you!!!!
-
Herman , put that away and do that zipper up!:+:+:+
-
Doesn't look good does it, then again I did notice the first un-edited shoot & that wasn't any better.:w
