Title: shipping around xmas

hey all does anyone know if customs close over xmas if so for how long,
also shipping companies,
cuz if all goes well my car will be send out on 2nd of nov and im wondering an eta or arrival

I thought Customs worked through the Xmas period. Any shut down would depend on the individual shipping companies, and what they stood their workers down for.

I think they are on a go-slow ... starts morning of the 24th Dec and ends arvo of 23rd Dec the following year.
