I have a Tach - it works but reads low, so will need recalibrating. Ideally someone in Melbourne.

Called them - pretty exy - $485+
The Tach works, just not accurately....

Sounds a bit exe. Could you buy a plain tacho from one of the auto parts retailers (about $70) and replace the innards? I'd suspect that is what they'd be doing - for $415 in labour.
