Title: freight from usa
Post by: Brad67 on February 17, 2018, 09:37:54 pm
hi guys, I am looking to import a transmission from the USA and have to organize the freight, can anyone recommend a good reliable well price service to help me out. sea or air doesn't really bother me and the supplier will ship it anywhere in the states to start me off. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

Where are you located?

Getting it included in someone's container would probably be the cheapest I'm guessing.

I have been using shipporter , they used to be a sponsor.  If you are not in a hurry, they send by sea and are reasonable

When I last dealt with my shipping agent about a year ago his price to include parts in the container was $1K per cubic metre, LA to Melbourne.

If you can arrange to have your transmission placed in the boot of someone's car it shouldn't cost you anything other than what you give him for the favour.
