All MOCWA members and non members are reminded that there is just 9 days to get a registration in. This is needed for planning purposes.
Judged cars cannot be judged without completing the registration, non members and non competitive MOCWA members can show and shine. If you are show n shining it is preferred that you register for planning. You can show up on the day but will not receive an entrants trophy.
It is FREE to show n shine and this is a non competitive participation. Everyone displaying a car will receive a trophy for showing up and supporting the event.
MOCWA is a very friendly club and encourages non members to participate to see how the club works and isn't like other clubs.
We want to see as many Mustangs in WA display at the event as is possible. The only restriction applies to the evening functions to which members receive priority naturally.
Get behind the event, we have a great level of participation from the east coast, get along and enjoy the day.
It is held on Easter Sunday from 8am - 4pm at Joondalup Baptist College. For more info call me, Craig on 0417 885 855
SEE YOU THERE!!!!!
-
should have mentioned that cars do have to be on display until 4pm. Insurance reasons prevent removal of vehicle before this time.
We are expecting a huge crowd and there will be some aditional special vehicles on display like Aussie Invader. So well worth getting along for a good day of Mustang action! :event:
-
I saw the Aussie Invader trailer on my holiday down near Albany.
There will be race cars, survivor cars, modified cars, everyday drivers, project cars and barn finds all on display! some of these cars only come out of the shed for THIS EVENT!
Its going to be great!spread the word to your mates even if they don't have mustangs to come check out these cars.
See ya there!
-
post a pic of your car here if you are displaying it....
and this will be there incomplete, bring your projects all welcome, just fill in the rego form for planning purposes

I took a passenger in 2008, there is always plenty of cars so it shouldn't be a problem.

Hey, I just checked Joondalup Baptist College on Google Earth. Is the Show`n`Shine being held on the big Oval on the North East side of the College or the Rectangle grassed area on the South side next to the Tennis courts??

It's on the (big) oval shaped oval Scott. :smile01: Park at the rear where Joondalup Arena is.

Rock65, as Matt has stated, there is a great commentary with pics over the last few days on the 'Time for an Update' thread
-
Hi Rock65, We have had a fantastic time in Perth and I have been putting regular updates in the " Time for an update" Thread in the " Members Cars" section of the Forum.
The Mustangs that were on display today were all exceptionally good. WA took out many awards with their fantastic cars, in fact Paul Shervington with his Fastback took out THE Top Award in Thoroughbred Class.
I do share your disappointment that it seems every year at Nationals time there are not a lot of posts about it. It is up to all of us to get more involved with posting about the Nationals.
Rocket.

Hey guys, well after 3hrs sleep last night, my job is done. 12 months of hard work has successfully been completed.
As official photographer, i couldnt let any cats out of the bag, but i will soon be posting tons of pics. I hope many more will do similar.
-
Hi Tim, Your 12 months of hard work has paid dividends.
The word around here is that WA have done a marvellous job of hosting this years Nationals. Happy faces everywhere. :thumb:
Excellent Accommodation at the superb Joondalup Resort, Great venue for the Display yesterday, well organized and very enjoyable Functions.
Thank you to all concerned.
Look forward to seeing your photos.
Would it be possible to post a full list of award winners?
Rocket.
-
I have a list of display judged and concours winners, but missed the sponsor awards while i prepped the presentation photos.
i should have time today to start hitting photobucket and the forum(s) with all the pics.
Nice to meet you the other night Rocket. Its always nice meeting strangers that already know you!

Hi All,
The NSW driving contingent made it home safely today! :hi:
We left for WA on Fri 22nd March and travelled from Canberra, the Central Coast and Kurrajong Heights via, Wagga Wagga NSW, Mildura VIC, Eucla WA, Norseman WA and Hyden WA to arrive on the afternoon of Thursday 28th at Joondalup.
We had a great time and the MOCWA team put together a great event. The Sunday show was a great event.
One of the cars that went with us, was a modified concours 69 coupe owned and built by Joe. he took out a silver award for Modified class.
Our return trip started at Odark Hundred on Monday 1st April and we stopped overnight at Balladonia WA, Ceduna SA, Broken Hill NSW and Dubbo NSW. The first three were quite long days travelling just under 1000Kms each day. Thursday and Friday were much shorter.
A great adventure with lots to see and do along the way. :thumb:
Cheers,
Warwick :hi:
