Title: Importing a Shell
Post by: ashley47 on September 10, 2010, 10:12:20 pm
Just looking for anyones previous experience importing a shell. Found a restored shell on rollers but don't know if there is any import issues bringing in incomplete cars.

Thanks

My  Fastback was just a shell when imported but I still needed the correct normal import approval from Canberra and the title paperwork from the US. Here is pic of the shell I imported.

Although I haven't yet found my project car yet, I have heard from other threads and websites that the shipping and handling charges would generally higher than for a complete car as it will require extra handling. But then again having it supplied on rollers would be an advantage.
