Title: How to post pictures - that are already hosted on the web
Post by: Foresight on February 02, 2010, 12:27:49 pm
For everyone that is having trouble posting pictures that are already hosted on the web like the ones you find in google images.

If you want to post pictures that are stored on your computer and not on the web check out this thread:
How to post pictures - that are stored on your computer (http://www.mustang.org.au/forum/viewthread.php?tid=8124)

Ok so this is is how to do it:

When you have found the image that you want to post right click it and select "View image"

Then copy the address from the URL bar eg. www.YourPastedURLHere.com/example.jpg (This should end with a .jpg .bmp etc)

Paste the URL into your post

You then need to put the tags around the URL you just pasted (The tags display the picture in your post instead of just showing the text URL)

If your picture is too big you can resize it by entering the new size into your tag. If for example you had a 1000x500 picture that you wanted to make 50% smaller (500x250) all you need to do is this

If you still come across any problems just post them below and I'll ad them to the tutorial  :o
