Title: 67 Fastback S Code - Mechanical Work Recommendations near Sydney

Hi there,

Hoping the some of you might be able to help me, you guys have a wealth of knowledge.

I am in need of recommendations around Sydney of who can carry out the following:

- Overhaul of 390 FE engine, is there a minimum scope of work that you can recommend. Not after huge performance, just a cruiser
- 4 speed top loader gearbox overhaul
- 9" diff, doesn't have to be concourse but period correct, where can i get one

I'm not a Sydneysider but the smart money is usually on taking it to Big Al.

Give Al a call, if he can't do it then he'll certainly know who can.

i would do a couple of the oiling system mods like run a cj oil filter adapter, enlage the oil feed hole, and put a restrictor (70 holley main jet) in the oil feed hole to the rockers.

Westend Performance at Campbeltown
did all machining and balancing and some head work for my 438 that i assembled
will be taking another 351 to them soon

Like someone else said, I would recommend Big Al as well.
