Try calling your local PPG rep and see if they have a quality shop they can recommend.

Tech Torque Pre 1973 / trimmers/painters Brisbane northside
« Last post by Herman1 on Yesterday at 03:27:49 pm »
Hi All,
I have been trying to get someone to paint and sort my interior parts for well over 12 months.
I thought I had it sorted several time but have been let down.
Does anyone know of someone that can paint the interior hard plastics and metal trim (1970 Convertible).
The colour is medium blue (which is metallic).
The seats have all been recovered (Annvid at Capalaba) and I have new door cards.
Does anyone in the Brisbane area know of anyone that can colour match and use plasticizers?
Thanks in advance

Tech Torque Post 2015 / Re: Battery replacement

Apparently not.  Just fit a new battery and the BMS should take it from there.  Can always take it to battery world or similar and get them to supply/ fit test.

the last time I had the battery replaced the guy plugged in a device and reset alternator charge rate , so he said , is this necessary or do you just change battery like any other car ?

I have always wanted to run the original model carb but there is likely a good reason why everyone replaced them. I agree, the 4100's are a good choice.

The Autolite 4300 carbs on 67 (and other) Mustangs were pretty bad and I was wondering what the later Motorcarft ones on Australian cars were like? Did they go any better or were just as bad?
