Title: Help! Having trouble change wheels
Post by: whoisjackram on April 28, 2017, 03:54:04 pm
Hey All,

Ive just recently purchased a 2016 Mustang EcoBoost version. Thought of upgrading the wheels to GT ones. Bought them off a private seller. Put them all ok. But now i am getting an error "Tyre pressure monitor malfunction". I didnt know the tyres had sensors nor that they need to be trained... :/. . pictures attached.

Not sure what to do. Called ford service they said not sure try ford parts who didnt answer. Called a tyre place they said its too complex call Ford Service.

Any help would be greatly apprectiated

not sure how the tyre pressure monitors work, but it may be as simple as swapping the old valve caps from your old wheels onto the new ones?
