Hello All - My son and I recently imported a 69 fastback from the US. Wiring is a mess after multiple owners I guess.
The link above is something we would consider - We would appreciate feedback on suitability / price

There is a guy in the USA that repairs and refurbs your old harness for around $150.00 plus shipping. Great work. Had him do mine and was rapped in the job. Randy? Midlife harness I think he is.

I've just bought an American Auto Wire kit for my 65 coupe. AAW wanted $700 plus $550 shipping, bought the kit through Mustang Depot online for $615 plus $104 shipping.
It was here within he week.
Cheers
John

Get yours refurbished be worth the postage if yours is not too bad.

If you don't want it original then the painless or AAW are probably good options (have not used those myself)
If you want as original then specify Alloy Metal Products wiring loom from your supplier. They were the supplier to Ford and the loom is 99% correct with everything new including plugs etc.
Edit, est cost $750 to $1500 us pending on which looms you need

Go for the American Auto Wire. Have just fitted a Painless. It should be called "Pain" not Painless.

Thanks for your replies, much appreciated. Our research has taken us to 'National Parts Depot' - they ship from Florida USA. Wiring harness is $700 and shipping quoted at $60 to $80, with being able to add small items to the box without too mch additional shipping costs. SBstang

Just be warned you will most likely need to reuse your connector on the firewall for the firewall to headlight harness as it does not come with it.

I used a pailess harness and thought it was pretty good.
I had to change it a fair bit, but i expected to have to due to having modified a fair bit throughout the car (including being RHD)

I have a painless system as my original harness was toast. Nothing wrong with Painless
