Thanks for everyone’s reply, why an ask is I have installed electric power steering and return to centre with 8deg of caster is almost perfect but I think it could be better with a solid powering bush. Currently a manual bush.
Something others could consider

I think it's the P/S cars with the idler arm that helps with RTC.

I sourced the bush from one of the Aussie Mustang suppliers (couldn't remember if it was Custom Mustangs or Sydney Mustangs) and they aren't (too) hard to find.

A mistake I made was that I replaced the bush and found that the idler arm was flogged out anyway (it wasn't obvious until I re-installed it) and so if you have an old part and the bush is worn, then chances are the whole part is worn.

I understand the factor idler arms on non power steering cars spring back to centre to help steering return to centre .
Has anyone seen this first hand and know where such a bush can be sourced?
Thanks

Agree, most jobs I will do myself but front and rear glass no thanks
I suggest replacing the seals while you are at it and keep a couple clips on hand

I have  Retrosound Two headunit I purchased and installed in my driver but swapped out as I was so impressed I was going to install it in my project.

Unfortunately I have sold the project recently so now I have a great head unit and a whole bunch of parts I accumulated over the last few years.

$500 inc shipping anywhere in Australia.

PM me if interested.
